FAQ's

What footwear and orthotics are covered by the Home Care Program?

The Support at Home program may fund supportive, therapeutic and custom-made footwear or orthotics where they are required to support mobility, manage a specific foot condition or reduce the risk of falls. This can include medical-grade footwear, shoes designed to accommodate orthotics and therapeutic insoles, subject to your individual care plan and approval from your provider.

How does Comfort & Fit help with the Home Care Program?

Our fitting specialists will take the time to understand your individual needs and help you find footwear or orthotics that are suitable for you. We can also provide a quote and liaise with your Home Care provider or care manager to help make the process as simple as possible.

Do I need an assessment or approval before purchasing footwear?

Funding requirements can vary depending on your individual care plan and provider. We recommend speaking with your Home Care provider before purchasing, and our team can help guide you through the process and provide any information or documentation required.
